Since ALS (both X and Y) have been sub-optimal to say the least forever, and since ALS difficulty is apparently a large part of our relocking time according to people, I started investigating ALSY.

I didn't have time to finish anything and in the end I reverted everything back for now. I'll make similar measurements again next Tuesday for ALSX.
