Started pulling optics etc. from ISC 7. General purpose mounts, beam dumps etc. are restocked in the optics lab cabinets. Most of labeled optics are put in boxes and stored in ISC cabinets, some are returned to the optics lab. The work will continue several days more.
Closed GV10 and GV11 (Ski et al. craning scissor lift over VE). Note GV11 "clanked" atypically when gate cammed closed. Started CS purge air compressor*Closed GV1 and GV2*Started Vertex, XBM and YBM QDP80s and Main turbo pumps*Vented Vertex and HAM6 volumes simultaneously (note: new requirement to maintain <0.5 atm pressure difference across HAM6 septum as the result of design flaw awarness-see Mike Z., Dennis C., John W., Albert L.)*Isolated BSC1 annulus ion pump*removed all but (4) door bolts from BSC1 South door
DCS (LDAS) transitioned to A6 (meaning "After S6") on Oct. 20, 2010, shortly after 8 am local time. During this time period all raw (L0) data at LHO and LLO is being copied to the site LDAS archives, and also is being transferred to the CIT LDAS archive, whenever this data is available from any of the DAQ (CDS) framewriters. The same holds for second-trend and minute-trend data. We continue to rsync any new DMT data, whenever it is available, but no LDAS RDS data is being generated during this time period. Note that the raw (L0) data will soon be pared down to mostly PEM data, and there will be no interferometer data until squeezing data and aLIGO test data begins to be written to the raw frames. Thus, if you are looking for data "After S6" outside of the control room, ask about A6 data.

Removed transmission monitor and components, including green pier. Components are stored inside the VEA, they will be removed in the near future. Output viewport is covered with a safety viewport cover. Cables were removed last week, see here.

Had transient low value for the instrument air pressure at the Y-end station this morning. No recent history or trend -> probably due to users activity.
The instrument air pressure briefly alarmed, Kyle has been notified: 22-Oct-2010 10:17:34 : HVE-EY:INSTAIR_PT499 LOW MAJOR 59 Apollo finished cleaning in the LVEA The crane inspections in the LVEA are completed The crane training class was held this morning Cheryl and Aidan continued TCS decommissioning Cheryl turned the clean rooms on in the LVEA Corey and Eric continued drilling holes at HAM 12 Gerardo, Cyrus and Jodi worked on the clean rooms at mid Y Reboldt came to work at end Y The Genie lift was moved to end Y, Apollo will probably begin cleaning there next week
Finished removal of optical lever power supplies, removed the power supply for ETMX and ETMY. Power supplies are stored on the racks of receiving/storage area of the LSB.
(Eric A., Corey G.) All the holes have been drilled (15 today. It took one $200 Hilti drill bit to get through about 14 holes--that steel rebar is a pain!). Eric will clean out the holes, check their depths, and cover them with tape. The vinyl-ish flooring has been removed. The final thing we would like to do is rough the concrete for the grouting--will try to do this Monday, time permitting.
Still have a glitch in the Main Chain right channel in satellite box 3200715. We have eliminated cables and OSEM as the problem source. Swapped SB 3200715 and SB 320078 and problem stayed on MO Rt. Moved cables back to original position. We swapped cables on the AA channel and the AI channel. Glitch moved from MO Rt to MO F1; possible problem in the AA or AI chassis. Filiberto is going to do some more testing this afternoon to determine which chassis is at fault.
I've started 3 clean rooms in the LVEA to counteract the dust from cleaning, and get the area ready for vents next week. HAM3, HAM8, and HAM6 clean rooms are ON. The clean room over HAM1 needs to have the large switch at the top of the clean room moved to the ON position, before it can be started.
Clean room over HAM1 is now ON.
Turned off the robofom and roboscimon cron jobs on script1 and control100.
Fix problem with suspension test stand workstation (suswork1) where it is unable to access files for burt restore. Found that burt's .snap files are stored in bscteststand:/data/autoburt/ which was not accessible on suswork1. Did the following: Modify bscteststand computer to export /data for nfs mounting on suswork1 Modify suswork1 to mount bscteststand:/data on /data Verify that burtgooey on suswork1 can access .snap files on /data
Same access problem on seismic test stand, modified seiteststand and workstation the same way.

Cheryl and I have removed everything (optics, lasers, AOMS, etc) from H2:TCSX. On TCSY we've removed everything with the exception of the AOM and laser which need to be disconnected from the plumbing. We were going to drain all the plumbing of the ethylene glycol but it turned out that this had been at some point in the distant past. We have an inventory of all the parts that have been pulled.
Corey Gray, Eric Allwine, Hugh Radkins worked on marking and drilling holes for the HAM 12 Pier Anchor Bolts Gerardo Moreno started removing the H2 optical lever power supplies from the LVEA Paul from Control Solutions NW came to fix the FMCS system in the control room Patrick Thomas, David Barker removed the control2 sun computer and replaced it with the control10 linux computer, also removed the windows control room Spiricon PC Richard McCarthy, Filiberto Clara removed the H2 electronics in mid Y Cheryl Vorvick, Aidan Brooks worked on decommissioning H2 TCS GV5 and GV7 were soft closed, the Genie-lift was craned over the beam tube, cleaning and crane lift tests continued in the LVEA Cyrus Reed went to look at the phone system in mid Y Reboldt Mallon worked on repairs, concrete grading, roof at mid Y
